This autumn, Mulberry founder Roger Saul asked Spirit to help launch his latest venture, a unique pop-up restaurant at Kilver Court.
Based in the heart of the designer outlet village in Shepton Mallet, ‘Stage 1’ uses reclaimed props and artefacts from British film sets to create a theatrical dining experience with a strong emphasis on the re-use of materials.
Spirit worked with Kilver Court and Fosters Event Catering – another Spirit client – to create a launch event which would attract social and business ‘movers and shakers’ from across the region, as well as generating media attendance and coverage.
Over 200 people attended a VIP ‘One Night Only’ launch where they enjoyed tasters and wine in the new restaurant, got the chance to grab the best bargains in the Christmas Designer Sale and relax in the stunning gardens, spectacularly lit up for the evening.
Spirit recommended teaming up with a South West charity and brokered a relationship with Teenage Cancer Trust South West, as the beneficiary, which helped raise funds for a worthwhile cause and brought a new audience to Kilver Court.
We secured over 25 items of press coverage in regional and national press, including the Huffington Post, The Observer, the Daily Mail and a campaign on Heart FM. Fifteen media attended the event, resulting in a steady flow of reviews after the event to attract people to the pop up restaurant through the festive season.
Stage 1 is open until early 2013 so if you haven’t visited yet, make sure you grab your table soon.
