Spirit was asked to launch a new flagship development of serviced apartments in the heart of Bristol for long-standing client SACO.
Founded 15 years ago with a handful of apartments in Bristol, the company has since grown to offer 28 locations across the UK, 12,000 apartments worldwide and has a turnover of £18 million.
To launch the apartments to the national media, we devised an action-packed press tour including the opening night party, a behind-the-scenes tour of new museum M-Shed, a pasta-making workshop at Piccolinos and a chance for journalists to put their feet up in their SACO apartment. It did the trick with 45 journalists applying to come.
The campaign resulted in four features in national press including the homepage of MyVillage.com, coverage in trade publications, a competition on Breeze fm and features in the Evening Post and Western Daily Press, including a profile of CEO Lesley Freed.
The apartments have been fully booked since they opened.
